The elegant Georgian market town of Holt and the ancient coastal villages of Cley and Blakeney are nearby.  Blakeney is known as a yachting centre, while Cley is a important bird reserve belonging to the Norfolk Wildlife Trust. The ancient cathedral city of Norwich in about 45 minutes away.
